Where To Get The Best Network Marketing Leads For Your Home Business

In yesterday’s post we discussed how to get network marketing leads with the various strategies out there.

But one thing we didn’t talk about is the fact that not all lead sources will produce the same QUALITY of network marketing leads.

We’ll look at this briefly in today’s post, because understanding what to expect when it comes to sources of network marketing leads is essential in order to build a profitable home business.

Sources Of Network Marketing Leads

When we say that leads are “high quality” or “qualified”, we mean that they’re targeted. In other words, we’re referring to their level of readiness to buy a particular product or service. And how sales ready your network marketing leads are will be determined by –

1.) How actively they’re looking for your product or service.

2.) How much they like, trust and know you.

As an example, if you rent a list of network marketing leads that belongs to some other marketer, and these prospects are folks that are looking for a nutrition based MLM opportunity, yet you promote a travel business to them, and on top of that they don’t like or trust you because they know nothing about you yet, well, those network marketing leads won’t be very sales ready…

From left to right, lead quality according to my friends Ray & Ferny, owners of “SEO
Networker”: Spam, Mobile Ads, Pay Per View (PPV), Craigslist, Banner Ads, Social
PPC, Search PPC, SEO.

What are the most qualified network marketing leads?

In the visual above network marketing leads produced by SEO (Search Engine Optimization) are all the way to the right. The reason these network marketing leads are of such high quality is exactly because –

1.) They were specifically looking for a product or service like yours when they came across your Google listing (they were typing in keywords on Google pertaining to your offer when your blog, video, article or other piece of content was displayed on the page).

2.) The fact that you’re ranking in the organic listings builds trust right off the bat.

Believe me, the person doing the Google search knows the difference between a sponsored ad and a natural, organic listing. And in their mind, even if it’s only at a subconscious level, an ad means someone’s trying to sell them something whereas an organic listing means Google recommends something.

(I.e. Google regards a particular piece of content as relevant enough to rank it in the search results.) Be sure to watch my brief video above for more on this!

Strategy, Strategy, Strategy…

But getting your content to rank on Google in the organic listings isn’t done overnight. It takes time, patience and consistency to grab the top spots on Goolge’s first page.

This is why I recommend you look at this as more of a long term strategy that you do alongside some other marketing strategy that can produce network marketing leads for your business more quickly.

Why you should have a short term and a long term plan.

Say for instance that you’re passionate about video marketing and decide to focus on video for at least the next 12 months, producing five value driven videos a week that you keyword optimize and put on YouTube. This is your long term plan.

My good friends Ferny Ceballos & Raymond Fong, owners of SEO Networker, specialize in driving traffic via SEO.

But you also understand that it’s important to get a strong flow of network marketing leads quickly if you are to create momentum, and so you decide to make use of some other marketing strategy as well.

The network marketing leads you get with this other method (say solo ads or banners for instance) won’t be near as qualified – it may take you ten times as many leads to get a sale with this strategy – but because with this strategy you can get dirt cheap leads and without a whole lot of effort, you can still do well and earn some profits!

Profits you can then reinvest into some other method that’s a bit more costly but produces higher quality leads.

Why you need to get results…now.

The reason I recommend you have both a short-term and a long-term strategy is this:

If you’re like most people out there, you want to eventually get to a point where you’re producing enough free network marketing leads to fuel your marketing engine without you having to spend hours on your computer every day. That’s the obvious reason.

But one thing you may not have considered is the fact that it’s also important to get some sort of results as soon as possible for the simple reason that results SELL. Your prospects want to see that you’re getting results. Even if it’s just ranking on your company leader boards for increased lead production.

So, there you have it…several things to take into consideration when it comes to how you choose to go about getting network marketing leads for your business.

At the same time, don’t get caught in “analysis paralysis”, don’t over-think things. Create a simple plan, and then take massive action. In the end, consistent, massive action is what’s going to take you all the way to the finish line.

Lead flow is the life blood of Network Marketing for sure. This is definitely a basic understanding of how Google works with paid vs. organic searches.

Getting ranked for buyer keyphrases like that are essential.

Quality is the answer in Network Marketing and patience is the key. Nothing of value happens immediately and developing a business to gain leads is a continual learning process. It is important to maintain your thinking pattern from the aspect of the type of person you are trying to attract and create content that will resonate with them.

  3. Yes, Lena you must thinking in the “Lead Targeted Format”,
to get new valued leads and you are the “Lead Factor” who
generates new Leads – To Networking new Leads you are getting
valued targeted leads nearly automatically – Google, also has
many accounts where you can get new targeted Leads.

Hi Lena, that was very interesting indeed. I hadn’t given this so much thought but I hardly ever click on the top ads in the colored area. Have to start thinking more like a lead instead of an advertiser in my business and turn my mindset around. Again, you are right on and are helping me tremendously. Possibly saving me years with your teachings! Awesomeness!
