Where do you find your most qualified MLM prospects – serious, driven, coachable individuals who are ready to join you and prepared to roll up their sleeves and get to work? Where do, in fact, these future super stars on your team hang out?
Here’s where so many networkers are missing the boat: They think that finding targeted MLM prospects is all about discovering “THE PLACE” – be it offline or online – some hidden locale or some secret Facebook group where these dream distributors all go to mingle.
It’s certainly true that the traffic source matters. But when it comes to the question of how to get quality MLM prospects to join you in your home business, the answer is actually three-fold.
1.) Know who you are looking for, and STATE it clearly.
2.) Know HOW and WHERE to find targeted MLM prospects.
3.) Demonstrate to your prospect that YOU are the person THEY are looking for.
1) Know What You Are Looking For In MLM Prospects
Firstly, you’ve got to know what type of person you are looking for so that you can address this in your marketing material. If what you want is a serious, business-minded person who’s got more desires than excuses, then state that!
If you’re not interested in sponsoring MLM prospects who are tire-kickers, then make THAT clear, too!
You’ve got to become comfortable asking. Because in marketing (as in the rest of life) you tend to get what you ask for.
As an example, an ad with the headline, “Serious Entrepreneurs Wanted”, will bring you a completely different MLM prospect than one that says, “Make Big Bucks, No Experience Required.”
You follow me? Okay, cool!
2) Know Where And How To Find Your Best MLM Prospects
Second, it’s important to understand that how well your message is targeted to your MLM prospects and their needs will also determine how quickly you’ll get them to take action.
Your prospects have to believe that you have the EXACT solution they’re looking for. We often refer to this as “message to market’.

If, say, you’re going to run an ad or a banner, you need to make sure that the website where you are advertising is in fact specifically targeting MLM prospects. Not small business owners. Not envelope stuffers. Not affiliate marketers. But MLM prospects.
Same thing if you’re posting content online, such as articles, blog posts, or videos. You’ll need to learn a thing or two about keyword research because on the Internet, everything and everyone speaks the language of keywords.
If you write a blog post targeting the keyword phrase, ‘start MLM home business’, that’s going to bring you a different reader than will a phrase like, say, ‘buy MLM leads’.
The first person is looking to start a business whereas the second is likely looking for MLM prospects for their existing home business.
3) Be The Person Your MLM Prospects Are Looking For
Last but not least, how ready they are to sign on the dotted line is perhaps more than anything going to be determined by how much your MLM prospects feel like they know you, like you and trust you.
If you know anything about Attraction Marketing, you know that people only buy from those that they know, like and trust.

If your prospect found you via some generic ad, and from there they were taken to a replicated lead capture page, then to sales pages and auto responder emails provided to you by your MLM company, with no personalization or branding of you as a leader, rather, it’s just a pitch for the company, products and opportunity…
Then, 99 out of 100 times that’s going to be a much harder sell than if you connected with your prospects through say, social media, and from there you took them to a personally branded capture page with your friendly face and name on it, followed by sales pages and emails that told your story while giving value and seeking to solve their problems.
Humans are naturally skeptical. And your MLM prospects are likely to be more skeptical than most as they may already have spent a great deal of time and money on various offers and opportunities with little or nothing to show for it.
The art of getting your MLM prospects to trust you
People join people, not companies or opportunities. It’s your task as an Attraction Marketer to effectively cut through all the resistance and eliminate any doubt that your MLM prospects may have.
You do this by demonstrating that you are likeable and trustable. But that’s darn hard to do if you’re hiding (even if unwittingly) behind a replicated website or company logo.

So to sum it up, as we seek to answer the question of where to find your best MLM prospects – where to find leads that quickly convert to customers and reps – there are at least three things to keep in mind.
1.) Firstly, you’ve got to be crystal clear on who you’re looking for, and not be afraid to say it.
2.) Second, you need do some research to make sure your message is laser targeted to your market. Part of this is knowing something about the use of keywords in your marketing so that you’ll attract folks who are looking specifically for what you have.
3.) Lastly – and if you don’t get this part, the first two will do you no good – give some serious thought to where you actually bring your MLM prospects once you find them. Direct them to a unique, personalized funnel where you start building a relationship with them and get them to trust you.
Fortunately you don’t have to create this type of funnel from scratch. In fact, it’s already been built for you. And YOU can use it to market YOUR network marketing opportunity, whatever that opportunity may be.
