The contest officially runs through the month of October, from the 1st thru the 31st, but you can get a head start on everyone else by starting TODAY.
I’m doing this in order to get you, my reader’s feedback on what type of content is helping you and what you want to see more of in the future. This way I can more easily get ideas for new posts, and my posts will also better target your needs.
So it’s truly a win-win situation.
So here’s how it’s gonna work:
Any time you read one of my blog posts (which you do anyway, right? ;-) simply leave a comment in response. It’s really that simple.
You don’t have to go overboard with it – simply respond to what you read.
The top commentor will be announced on November 1st, and he or she will get to choose a free copy of any ONE of my following products:
The top commenter will be selected based on a combination of the two criteria:
1.) Frequency of comments.
2.) Substance of comments.
In other words, if you comment on tons of posts but all of your comments are two-word replies along the lines of, “Good job.”, “Nice post” and so on…then, your chance of winning is significantly smaller than were you to comment on fewer posts but your replies were more thought-out.
If you comment frequently and you also leave valuable feedback, you obviously have the greatest chance at winning. (It’s not about whether you agree or disagree with the content, though! By all means, have your own opinion! :-)
If I feel that more than one person deserves a prize, well, then I’ll give away a product to more than one person. Not a biggie to me. :-)
So yeah, it’s really as simple as leaving a comment when reading a post, in the reply box right below the post, starting today, September 23. and through the month of October.
Those that really got their minds set on winning may even choose to go back to older posts and comment on those as well, as this, too, will count.
In my WordPress back office I’m able to see the date for when the comments were posted, and your comments on ANY old or current posts, as well as posts I’m yet to write, will be taken into consideration, between now and October 31st.
One last thing: If you’re reading this and you’re not on any one of my email lists, I recommend you opt in somehere on this blog to subscribe to one of my lists.
I post new content here on my blog practically every single day, and by being on one of my lists you will be notified whenever something new has been posted. This will then serve as a helpful reminder for you to check in and comment.

As David mentioned, I have no idea what wonderful product I would pick… But what an awesome problem to have right?
I have been listening to your MLSP wake up calls and they are always full of information. I just listened to the 8/27 call (“10 Tips”) and the 9/12 follow up, and you mentioned you had information to post on tracking traffic. Do you have a link to that? Thanks!
As far as content goes, I would love to hear more about time management strategies (ex: a day in the life of Lena!), the best bang-for-your-buck advertising ideas, how to come up with blog content, and of course tips and more tips!
Also, I love asking this question to leaders: If you had the chance to start over, what would you have done differently?

Great feedback, Jeanine! This is exactly what I’m looking for! As far as the tracking goes, I posted that on the MLSP fan page, MLSPfanclub.com. You may have to scroll down a bit, but if you do that, once you get to the comments left on the page on the date of my call, you’ll see info from me where I explain how to do tracking.
I’ll keep your other suggestions in mind for future posts. By the way, I thought you were a Her Success Blueprint student? In HSB I lay out exactly what I would have done differently were I to start over.

Just FYI, the plugin is called “Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin”. I actually was doing a course from another marketer the same time I asked you the question, and when I installed it I was like “OH YAY!”
I’d love to see more stuff in your “Lena’s Rants” category! If you haven’t noticed, I have been reading some things. It’s really nice to know more about you personally, and not just the marketing ‘guru’-type stuff! That section makes it seem more real on here!
